Mt. Gaurishanker & Everest Panorama Trek
We trek amid havens of nature’s most glorious presence across lush green valleys with views of some of the most stunning vistas ever beheld.
'A walking journey through the remote eastern frontiers of Nepal'
Dramatic landscapes, rich Buddhist culture, secluded rolling valleys, traditional villages, as we come across a thrilling pass hiking into pristine forest enriched with flora and fauna amidst towering peaks and breath-taking views.
Getting an idea of the land before you tread on it:
This is an off the beaten trail through thinly populated area, near the Tibetan border on the southern flank of the giant Mt. Gauri Shankar. We will be walking up the ridges and contouring gently in the valley. There are several beautiful little villages, as we ascend gradually into the lovely upper part of this valley through the mist-filled rhododendron forest. We take a last look at Mt. Gauri Shankar as we descend along the narrow path passing through mixed forests to Dolong Sha, the valley’s last village, and then walk through the terraced middle hills to the large bazaar of Barabise situated near the banks of the Bhote Koshi River.
