 The mountain flights are operated by domestic airlines in Nepal. It is a guaranteed flight, which means operated only when the weather is good and view is satisfactory. At the present, there are two main Airline companies who offer Mt. flights.

1. Buddha Air
Buddha Air is the only airline in Nepal operating four brand new; straight-from-the -factory; currently in production, fully pressurized, state-of -the-art third generation aircraft Beech 1900D, each worth US$ 5 million.

Buddha Air has been able to establish a professional Operation and Engineering Department, with ultra-modern training facilities as well as aircraft inventory stock of more then US$ 2 million. As mentioned in the technical audit of Raytheon Aircraft Credit Corp. (USA), Buddha Air is rated amongst the best schedule flight operators of Beech 1900D Aircraft in the world.

2. Yeti Airlines:
Yeti Airline’s one hour Everest Flight takes off from Kathmandu Airport and flies east in a modern Jetstream 41 fully pressurized and air-conditioned, where one can see magnificent mountains from a height of around 25,000 feet. Both these companies operate planes that are ideal for mountainous regions & countries.

A must take tour of the majestic Himalayas, mountain flights last for an hour of breathtaking scenic beauty of the Mighty Mountains. It is a sparkling clear journey across the world’s highest peaks, Mt. Everest, Kangchenjunga – 3rd highest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, to name just a few including the Tibetan plateau.
